Use the rag to sprinkle water on the frame, so as to soften the mud. Then you can wrap the mud easily. Please not use the high-pressure water gun, because the water will reduce the service life of the hub and bottom bracket. And do not use potent detergent, like laundry detergent. That will damage the alloy material, and there will be strange color spots on the frame as time goes by . If you do need detergent,you can use mild liquid detergent instead.

Step2: Wash the wheels, head and seat post

         When you wash the wheels, you can use liquid detergent dipped shoe-brush toremove the mud and sand on the cover tyre. Then use liquid detergent dipped ragto clean the rims. For the spokes, just clean it several times. Do not use the high-pressure water gun to wash the hubs, either. Be careful not to let water into the seat post.

Step3: Wash thebrake levers and derailleur levers

         Now let’s move on to the brake levers. Use the rag to wrap the levers gently. When it come to the derailleur levers, you can use water pipe to wash it directly.

Step4: Wash the front  fork, peddle and brake

         Wrap the front fork with moisture rag, and remember to clean it regularly. For the peddle, you can just rinse it, so it with V brake. And you can use brush todust the mud on the wheels, derailleurs and pulleys.

Last step: Wash the chain wheel, freewheel and chain

         Those are the dirtiest parts of a bicycle. The lubricating oil on them makes them dust-vulnerable. Clean the chainwheels with the moisture liquid detergent dipped rag . Note that every tooth is washed. Then take off the freewheel to wash it. At last you will clean the chains. There are two ways to clean thechains. You can choose kerosene or liquid detergent. You’d better clean it with 45℃water if you choose the second way.  And you can brush every chain link to make it show the original color.
